Client Reviews
Sunita Rajendran
Petaling Jaya, KL
"We used the checklist session before my father-in-law's retirement and it was more useful than I expected. The coordinator went through every category methodically and by the end we had a clear picture of what we had and what was missing. The glossary was a useful addition β some of the older documents used terms none of us recognised. The written summary arrived promptly."

"I hired Bridgenest to scan and index about 600 pages of family documents going back about thirty years. The work was done neatly over two visits and the index they produced is straightforward to use. My mother and I both attended the handover session and we can both navigate the digital archive without any difficulty. One minor point β we had a few oversized documents that needed to be handled differently, but the team flagged this early and it was not a problem."

"We have been on the annual retainer for eight months now. Nurul is easy to reach and keeps the filing current without any involvement from my end, which was exactly what we needed after the digitisation work was done. The quarterly review reports are brief and clear. Worth it."

"My family had a large collection of documents from a property purchase and a period of estate administration and things had become difficult to find. The scanning and indexing service sorted that out. The naming convention is logical and I can find any document in about thirty seconds now. The folder set for the originals is also much cleaner than what we had before."

"I appreciated that the checklist session was genuinely limited to administrative information. We had some questions about documents relating to a family matter and the coordinator was straightforward about not being the right source for that kind of guidance and pointed us to the appropriate professionals. The checklist itself was thorough. Four stars because the preparation sheet could have been a bit more specific about document sizes, but that is a small thing."

"We engaged Bridgenest for the retainer after our parents moved in with us and their records came along too. Having a named contact who handles the monthly filing means the system actually stays current, which was the problem before. The year-end summary was a useful document to have when we met with our family lawyer."

Case Study 01 Β· Checklist Session
A Retirement Transition, Kepong
Starting Point
A retired civil servant and his wife contacted Bridgenest in June 2025. They had three folders and several envelopes of documents accumulated over 35 years of working life, property ownership and raising three children. They were not sure what they held or what they might need to locate for post-retirement administrative tasks.
What Was Done
The checklist session worked through eleven document categories. Papers were moved into the labelled folder set as each category was addressed. The coordinator noted two categories where originals could not be located and added the relevant public information sources to the written summary. The session was completed in just under two hours.
Outcome
The household left with a clear picture of their records, a labelled folder system and a written checklist identifying two outstanding document categories with notes on how to follow up. The written summary was sent the same week. The family subsequently booked the scanning and indexing service.
"We did not realise how many documents we were missing until we went through the categories properly. It was not an alarming session β very calm β but it was clarifying."
Case Study 02 Β· Scanning & Index
Multi-Generation Archive, Cheras
Starting Point
A family with three adult siblings contacted Bridgenest in July 2025 to deal with a mixed collection of their late mother's documents alongside current household papers. No existing system existed; papers were spread across two locations and some were undated or unlabelled.
What Was Done
The service covered approximately 540 pages across two visits over two and a half weeks. Undated documents were assigned estimated date ranges based on contextual information noted during the first visit. The index uses a consistent three-part naming convention and the two backup copies were delivered at the handover session attended by two of the three siblings.
Outcome
The family now holds a single consolidated digital archive with a printed index and both physical and digital backup copies. Originals were returned in a labelled folder set with the printed index inside the front cover. All three siblings can access and navigate the system.
"The handover session was practical β Rajan showed us exactly where everything sits and how the naming works. We can find things ourselves now, which was the point."
